Little hard to install but saved me a lot of money

You don’t need many tools to replace a broken cable. However if you don’t know what you’re doing this is not for the average person.
You need to remove quite a few pieces to replace a broken cable I think you really need to be an experienced DIY type of person to attempt to do this project.
The cable looked just the same as the broken one, time will tell about its quality.
Happy with the purchase and recommended for now.
UPDATE:
It lasted 18 months until it broke from the tip connected to the door lock, not the handle. Can’t complain.

Perfect fit for my car. Cable was simple to install so no fault there.
Getting access to the section where this installs was a whole other story. If you have a lot of patience, you can get this done. If you have small hands, you will have an easier time than other. If you have big hands, you more than likely get a cut or two getting to the location needed to install this part. But its not impossible. I recommend taking off the bolts on the side of the door where the latch is located. You dont have to take it off but it does help with getting more room to work in there and you need all the room you can get.

This door cable works as expected. I bought it to replace one that broke. I initially thought I had broken my door handle on the inside of my car but after I actually took the interior door panel off I seen that the door cable had broken on one end, it seems that this is somewhat common with Kia products….

The tip of my cable assembly broke. So I had to remove the broke part and then replace the assembly.

The end keeps breaking off. The original one that came with the car lasted approximately 12 years where the last one I purchased here only lasted 4 years. Otherwise I guess it was a good buy.
