Worked on my 2007 Silverado .
Frawg –
Good part
Martin B. –
Works as expected, it’s a 15min. fix. Finally got rid of “low oil level” message displayed permanently on my dash. lol Takes more time to set up to crawl underneath than the actual replacement of the part.

Thanks, I had trouble finding this part. It was the correct part.
Thanks again.
T Will –

Turned off the oil level light on the DIC. Love OEM parts.
gary remy –
It worked fine,easy to install
GMAN –
I did install item as it was purchased soley to plug the hole in the pan. The replaced item was leaking thru the centre and not able to stop it from leaking. I had hoped it would work but does not. I have 5.0V supply to the plug, but suspect the inerds are not the same as the OEM.

Excellent OEM part and great to deal with. Fixed my low oil light issue of staying on all the time.

I was replacing the oil pan gasket on my 60,000 Silverado and thought it would be a good idea to also replace the oil level sensor. – The sensor is located on the passenger side of the oil pan and is easy to change. A perfect time to replace this is when you are changing your oil. If you can change your oil, then you can change this oil level sensor.
