Item was shipped quickly and easy to install. Problem: only worked twice then, clanked and clunked the third time and would not fully engage the transfer case. Contacted seller for return. Will wait and see what happens.

Tried installing myself since it’s about a ten minute job and it only shifted into 4×4 and low but would not shift back up to 2wd. Brought to a mechanic to install and he said the motor only shifts one way after testing. It’s been more than a year since my purchase and should have returned it, but didn’t. I must of just received a bunk one I guess?

Thought the transfer case motor was the problem because the truck would not shift into or out of 4 wheel drive but turned out to be the vacuum solenoid was shot. Replaced the motor anyway and now I have a spare just in case.

Installed very easily and seem to be an identical replacement of the OEM. It worked great for approximately six uses and then failed to engage my front axle when I needed it most pulling a large boat out of the water. I removed it and bench tested it and found it to be defective. I am now buying the OEM. Much more expensive but I need it to work

this part failed the first time I used it! I locked my truck in the four-wheel drive and when I went to turn it back off the motor would not release my transfer case from 4-wheel drive. had to remove the motor andmanually put it back two-wheel drive
