We got this power steering pump to replace the one in our 2000 Dodge Ram truck that was starting to squeal. This one is brand new, quiet, and works perfectly! My husband put it in himself. He’s pretty good with fixing cars and it took him only about 2 hours (he was surprised that this job was easier and quicker to complete than he expected.) One thing to remember is that the pulley is not included (as the ad states so no surprises there), so you will have to transfer your current pulley to the new pump. We can’t say how long it will last but from everything we can tell so far, this part seems great!
