Good relay with diode. Used in car stereo amp power supply.
just me –
This German made Bosch style relay has something very important inside. A diode to suppress the high-voltage spike that occurs when de-energizing the relay. if that high voltage spike goes back into your cars ECU, it could cost a lot of money to replace the ECU. Why take the chance. Just do it right the first time. It’s not really necessary for standard 12 V wiring, but if the ECU is what’s turning the relay on and off then better safe than sorry.
