I like Gates belts, but I am taking off a couple of stars because the kit contained the wrong size spring (I dont know why one reviewer said it doesn’t come with a spring, it does). It was almost 1cm longer than the original and much less tension. I wasn’t able to get enough tension on the belt and had to re-use the old spring. I normally wouldn’t have wanted to do so but the car has over 200k miles so at this point i didn’t care enough to wait for a correct replacement.

This is a high quality belt and tensioner kit. I installed this kit on a customers car 5 years ago and they have since put 125000 on their 97 corolla and asked me to service the timing belt again. When I removed this timing belt, there was almost no wear on the belt. It would have gone another 100,000 miles. I had previously replaced the cam shaft seal and crankshaft seal 5 years ago during the service so there was no oil on the belt.
Also the tensioner bearing was smooth with no noise.
Highly recommend this kit.
Note: Kit does not contain a new tensioner spring. Not really necessary to replace the spring

Promptly shipped and proper fit for my 1997 corolla 1.8L automatic.
You can slip the belt past the passenger side motor mount by disconnecting the mount from the frame and jacking the engine up enough to slip the belt underneath. (will need to unbolt some other things in the same area – AC line clamps, cruise control actuator etc)
A little challenging breaking lose and torquing the 10mm idler bolt, but that has nothing to do with the kit.
The kit had everything included as described, spring, idler, belt etc.
You will at least need a valve cover gasket kit in addition to this.
