En cuanto lo coloque se quito en el sistema que faltaba tapón de gasolina, recomendado, la llave entra y sale fácil, hay que estar seguro de que truene para cerrar con llave. Lo utilice en un Mustang 2005, tengo otro en una Ranger 2002.

Served the purpose nicely. Needs a set of instructions though. Tricky getting it to lock. Once it’s figured out becomes easy!

I would give it 5 stars if it came with any sort of way to attach it to the car, like a tether, my old gas cap had that but this one I can’t seem to figure out how to add one. So it just goes in my pocket each fill-up. Not a big deal.
When locked – it will spin freely, with no resistance, this confused me at first. I thought I got a bad one, because when unlocked – it will twist off like a normal gas cap… with a lot of resistance at first.. in winter, I had trouble getting it off, as it stayed on my car for longer, though, it got easier to take off. I thought originally that when it locked – it wouldnt spin at ALL, and so me being able to twist it off was just the result of a faulty product. Think I paid like $13. Gave me peace of mind.
Sure someone can pry it off or drill my gas tank. Someone can break your car window, but you still lock your car, someone can break into your home window or your door, or even pick the lock… you still lock your door. If your car is old, and the fuel door doesn’t lock with the car (as many new cars have this design) this is a good purchase

Good product that fits my 2010 ford focus perfectly. Locks easy enough and comes with a key, just snap it on your cars keyring and you got yourself a locking gas cap. Great for older vehicles like mine that don’t have any locking mechanism on the gas tank so no one can pour sugar down my tank or siphon my gas now.

I had trouble at first. No directions included. I bought 2 caps from 2 different company’s. I’m not sure which one had some less than great directions on how to use written on the box. It would have been nice to have what vehicles the cap was for. Had I purchased seperately for my old 1984 Chevy Van and my 2005 Ford escape I’m sure I wouldn’t have had a problem in identifying which cap went where. Oh well, the A wholes that were stealing my gas won’t have such an easy mark any more.

Besides the perfect fit, it is very easy to lock and unlock. 2 keys come with it. And take it from a Combat Veteran; it’s not to keep folks from stealing your gas, it’s to prevent anyone from putting crap in your gas tank!!!!!! With hood locks standard, your tank IS YOUR VEHICLE’s MOST IMPORTANT THING TO PROTECT!! And unlike a cut tire, you probably won’t know it has been tampered with. So you break down who knows where! One last thing, have you priced an engine lately? Be smart and protect your fuel! ✌️

This cap will suit my needs and fit my vehicle make and model (Ford e250). 99% of security is not being as easy a target as the next victim. The simple nature of this device and it’s cheap lock will be undone easily enough by any determined and/or prepared thief, but the idea is to be the less easy target and avoid falling victim to crimes of convenience.
