If you’re used to dealing with traditional steel brake lines and have never tried this stuff, try it, you’ll never go back.
It is easier to work in every way- straightening, bending, forming, and flaring (regular, bubble, and double) all are MUCH smoother and easier than in steel and it doesn’t rust. It’s similar to doing similar operations on copper or aluminum but something about it is easier, it’s rated for brake line and other automotive uses which copper isn’t and aluminum is only in specific applications, and unlike them, it doesn’t appear to work harden.
A quick tip for those of you that care about appearance (like making custom lines for a hot rod)- start by straightening it, I use either a line straightener or for shorter lengths you can get away with chucking it in a drill chuck and pulling it at an angle while spinning through a block of softwood with a hole slightly bigger than the tube diameter. When you have what you want take and buff it with some scotch bright or steel wool and it gets shiny like if you polished it.
