The check engine and VCS light came on in my 2006 Scion XB. Looking through YouTube videos and reading forums, one of the advised tips and tricks was to change the gas cap. Once I replaced the gas cap and reset the battery, all is well. The warning lights haven’t made another appearance in three weeks now! The gas cap fits perfectly, and unlike the original cap, it actually stays snapped in place too.
