My gas cap tether broke several years ago and I was pleased to see this kit available on Amazon. The cap ring and plastic tether fit just like the OEM version and the only difficult part was removing the plastic retainer that snaps into the door for the gas cap. It would have been great if a new retainer had been included in the kit, then you could just rip the old one out. As it was, I managed to carefully wiggle out the old retainer with needle nose pliers. Once installed this kit is indistinguishable from the original tether. I didn’t need to replace the rubber seal inside the gas cap but will hang onto the new ones just in case. I’m very pleased with this kit and highly recommend it.

Was able to get an online video that showed how to install this. was a breeze and cleared the Fuel cap error indicator

This is pretty much useless as when you try to twist your cap off because the rubber (the original part is not rubber so I’m not sure how they can call this a replacement) keeps the cap on but you cannot rotate to easily get the cap off so I’d skip this one.

Works great and easy to install. It goes in the same way the original stay did without modifications. I did find it easier to remove the gas door to install the stay. Comes with extra gaskets too.
