The engine light was on and indicated sad gas cap. Replaced with this new gas cap and all lights are off now. What a relief.

Check engine light kept coming on,went off when I tightened gas cap.Replaced with new one and it seems to have solved problem hopefuls. Cheap easy fix.

I had bought a universal gas cap for my 2009 Jeep Liberty from AutoZone and I always kept getting the error that something was wrong with the gas cap. I bought this one, and have not had any issues since.

The gas cap works fine, but the little strap doesn’t stay attached to the vehicle.

Sometimes it pulls out of the hole that secures it to the Jeep body. Otherwise, it works as it should.

Purchased this so I wouldn’t accidentally leave it behind after filling up. When I put it on, it never felt like it seated correctly on the gas tank. After filling up my tank and driving a little bit, I noticed that I was down to 1/4 of a tank left and only got 108 miles! Granted Jeeps aren’t known for their great gas mileage, bit I can normally get at least 200 miles to full tank…and I had been driving on the highway! The last straw was my CEL came on with P0456 code. Leaking gas cap…thank God I didn’t throw away my original cap After less than 50 miles with the original cap, the CEL went out by itself.
I don’t understand why some of the reviews are positive and some negative, especially when it comes to Jeeps.
