Engine emissions light on. Code reader dropped 2 codes for gas cap. Old cap had cracked gasket. Cleaned fill pipe. Installed replacement cap. Codes cleared and now no light. All seems good…
Then after just 2 weeks (with 5 gas station fills and over 1500 miles) emissions light reappears along with fault codes. 3 days past warranty return date….

Bought this item to replace the gas cap of my 2002 civic. It fit perfectly and have not had the check engine light come on as of yet. The only negative, there is no lanyard to attach the cap to the car. The original lanyard was broken many years ago. It would have been nice if this cap came with a lanyard to replace the original, but other than that, no complaints
