Edit: started throwing check engine codes for emissions leaks.
When the retaining strap broke on my original gas cap, I got a cheap one online and it didn’t fit very well. Sometimes it felt like it latched properly when it didn’t. This one so far is working as well as the original and seals tightly so it doesn’t through a check engine light.
