This items claims to work with 2010-2015 5th gen 4Runners, but it won’t. It immediately threw all the EVAP codes it can possibly trigger and I needed to buy one from Toyota. The cap will sit nice and snug with 1 click, but I noticed it’s a lot shorter than the factory one. You will have a check engine light illuminated if you use this gas cap.

I used this on my 2014 Toyota Sienna to clear a mall evaporate leak. works perfectly, check engine light has not come back at all. you have to take sure you turn it clockwise until it clicks at least one time to ensure a seal or your CEL will come back on
