Went to local auto parts store and couldn’t find what I needed. Took a shot on Amazon and found this for my 2001 Nissan frontier. Exact replacement. Couldn’t be happier.

Easy to install

Cap is functional, but the plastic used on the strap is far too rigid and brittle. The strap broke near the cap within a few months. I’d recommend trying a different version with the straps pivot on the top of the cap vs around the outside like this model.

Does NOT fit 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. Unfortunately I did not attempt to install until after the return window was closed.
But as far as I am concerned, this seller is not trustworthy, because they did not do enough QC to ensure they were not falsely advertising the product.

My car was smelling like gasoline inside. When I checked my gas cap there was a big crack in it, so I bought this product and replaced it. It was very easy to install and works perfectly. The car does not smell at all anymore! Great product.

The cap was not the right fit for my 01 pathfinder. We just wasted money on this product. I’d recommend another parts manufacturer that actually tries their product on the vehicles they are recommending it for.
