I had two VP jugs that needed new cap seals. This cap and kit fit my can just fine. I had tried other caps previous to this, replacing the original due to age, not knowing the thread pitch is different for it.
First time I tried pouring fuel with the other cap, I got more on the ground than in the tank. Seeing that I had already tossed the old cap, I was a little SOL on trying the new seal on the old cap.
I found this listing and got it coming to me. It sealed perfectly on both my cans and actually got a second (cap only) to repair the second can.
Worked well for the month + that I have had them until some lowlife decided to cut the strap holding them and steal my cans from the bed of my truck.
20+ year old cans and new caps. They ended up with a pair of damn decent working cans now.
I guess I’m on the hunt for a new pair of cans…

Pretty good. Went well on a vp gas jug no issues or leaks as of yet. The hose is flexable and soft. The custom bend holder is helpful with the flimsy hose I’d almost say it’s a must. I took off a star because it has a in line filter but it’s rather large. I have another spout that is priced at a dollor.more with a fine screen filter installed.
The two are identical aside from the filters and both are.a good value. I’d order this again.

The Hohnnyreet fits VP fuel jugs and serves as a pour spout. The key is the bender, which is a hard plastic curved raceway. The PVC hose fits inside this raceway. Some persuasion is needed to make this happen. A hair dryer may be needed to soften the PVC.
Everything fits. It pours well. Top rating.

This fits fine on my VP Fuel Jug. I actually prefer the flat rubber washer in this kit vs the o-ring that the VP cap uses. Really the only thing I’d criticise is the fitting that goes in the cap for the fill hose doesn’t have the metal screen. Instead it has holes (much larger than the screen) molded in. This is still enough to keep anything big out of the fuel tank as even the screen isn’t really a proper filter.
This is the main hose I’m using now on the jug!

all threads work fine and I don’t mind the rubber gasket or the rudimentary screen which others have complained about.
I particularly like the bender, because without it, it is cumbersome to start fueling.
My only concern is the price. You would think that a single pack should be an incentive for first time users to give it a spin (when obtaining the can separately). But at $18 posted price, it has double the unit price when compared to a 4-pack of the same product, which was available at time of order. Strange marketing, in my opinion.

Works very well – I have a VP Racing fuel tank that recently had the nozzle broke off accidentally. This is a nice kit and it fit perfectly on my can. Includes all the necessary components, and also includes the plastic bender as well which works incredibly well for keeping the nozzle in the right position. Overall, really good kit, seems to be made of quality parts. The nozzle is stiff especially in cold weather, but since it is rubber this is understandable. No leaks, good flow. Excellent!

I ordered this kit hoping it would provide a longer spout and make filling my lawn and garden equipment quicker and easier. It states that it is for a racing VP fuel jug. It also states that it is for “gas cans” and shows pictures of lawn equipment. Before you possibly waste your time, this does not fit a regular gas can. This kit requires a large 4″ wide spout on a gas can. Everything is here ands it goes together quite well but it’s meant for racing fuel jugs and nothing else.

This filler spout works great with my fuel cans. I like that this has the bender included as it makes it easier to hit the fuel tank. In addition the bender helps to keep the fuel spout from kinking. The fuel cap fits my cans perfectly and seals nicely. I would definitely get a few more of these for my other cans.
