Better than original

I just installed this so will see how it does in the next few months. It seems like quality material but it has fewer fins. The original has 37 fins and this one has 22. The original is almost 4 years old and almost 44,000 km and does not look so bad although I vacuumed some leaves and dust off it. 3/$31.00 is a great deal!
I also had to contact their Customer Support and they were very responsive and met my needs. Sounds like a great Seller!

All the oil change places want to charge me $35 to change a Cabin Air filter, so came to Amazon & found a pack of 3 for less than that.

There are so many choices, that it’s hard to decide which non-OEM filter to get. However, I can say that these worked just fine, so I’m happy with them.

Simple to change, and saves a lot of money over having a shop change them for you. These look and fel just like the original filters.

So it was time to replace my air filter and typically I like to use OEM product as much as possible. But with OEM comes the cost, and Honda charges a pretty penny for their stuff, even with friends and family discount, it’s still hefty. This filter fills that void of cost and perhaps, maybe even better!
A side by side comparison shows that the OEM has more pleats than this one, BUT, what I couldn’t capture was the individual sheet thickness. This filter sheet is alot thicker than the oem, this also explains why it’s actually heavier than the OEM. The trade off with pleats versus thickness is, pleats gives your surface area, but thickness gives you particule capture power. I suspect this filter can capture finer particles than the oem. Again, I have no real means to test this, but just judging by the material itself and experience.
This filter does also have activated carbon and I believe it may contain more than the oem. Only time will tell how will these will perform, and that is exactly in 15k miles when I do my check. 3 pieces of high quality filter for this price is hard to beat, especially against OEM.
