I ordered these grommets to work with a Dorman 911-060 Fuel Tank Vent Valve for my 1980 Ford Mustang. I needed to add an extra new fuel vent valve for my Mustang and this fit the Dorman perfectly. Price was very inexpensive. The factory fox hole is 1 3/8†do I drilled a new hole and this grommet and new valve popped right in. I hope the quality of the rubber is good and will last in gas based environment. Time will tell.

This seal is OEM for foxbody mustangs for sure. It’s very tight. I had trouble putting the vent cap back on even with lubricant. Mine was melted I guess after 30 years fuel does that to rubber. I was skeptical at first but it fits!

Husband said item worked well

Every fitment guide up there discloses the 9th generation F-150 from this item. But it fits. Perfectly. And it is in distinguishable from the old ones.

Barely fit on the midship tank of my 1994 F350. The outer diameter fit great in the whole but I had to force the vent into the rubber pretty hard. I tried softening the rubber a little by soaking in hot water for a while. Still had to force the vent in. In the future i will try and order a different one I think

Works well, fine quality especially for the price. I needed only 1 but this 4 pack cost less that buying a single!

Got this for my buds old Ford when we redid the gas tanks n it was faster than the local parts store
Dale Keister –
Perfect for my 96 f150. Solid seal.

The rubber seals fit in the gas tanks and the vent valves fit in rubber seals perfectly. Now the 49 year old pickup has working vent valves.
