Takes 4 AA batteries. Very quiet and I particularly like that it has a fuel auto shutoff to avoid filling overflows.
Ideal for 5 gal or less containers. I use it to top off my boat fuel so I dont have to hold the heavy 5-gal container with it’s short hose.

The purchased this to replace one of those ‘stick’ transfer pumps. It comes with 3 different gas can cap adapters. Other reviews of said these things leak. There are no gasket for any of the adapters. But why should there be? The gas can typically sits on the ground when using this pump and gas is not slopping around the gas in the can.
I use this to fill the gas tank on my SXS. Typically I fill it’s tank at home and do not like lifting 5 gallons of gas. I struggle to get the gas spout with all the safety locking devices, that comes with the gas can, into the gas filler neck. That’s not a problem with this pump. I just insert the spout from pump and click it into the gas filler neck. The pickup on this pump is flexible and can get just about all the gas out of the gas can without tilting the can.
Filling is super easy. Just turn the pump on and the tank on your vehicle will fill until the gas level reaches the filler spout of this pump. As soon as it does the pump shuts off. Super simple! I should have got this years ago.

I have been using this to transfer diesel fuel from a Jerry can into the fuel tank of our diesel heater. Really impressed. Does not chew through batteries, and has held up well.

We love this so much, we bought a second one for my father.
Around here, grocery stores reward customers with gas discounts good for 35 gallons.
We fill one vehicle, then buy 20 or so gallons using 5 gallon cans. Those suckers are heavy! With this pump, we simply insert the batteries, place one end of the hose in the vehicle and the other in the can and push the on button.
Like the gas station, this pump senses when the tank is full and shuts off. It’s that easy!
No more back pain, no spills in my garage and it’s fast!
Note:
You can leave the can on the floor but gravity will slow down the process. Move your can closer to the height of your vehicle’s gas cap for the fastest fill up. My husband uses an upside down trash can. So easy! Highly recommend!
