I have the 2013 Versa sedan. I had a fuel pressure regulator error and after pricing parts ( regulator and fuel pump). It just made sense to get the pump with regulator attached ( $139.00 ish). The local parts store chains wanted $450.00 ish for the part. I watched all the u tube videos of people using a hammer and punch to remove the retaining ring. It looked like a knuckle buster. I like how Amazon links the past purchases of others so I researched the right tool for my style of retaining ring. It was the right way to make this change as easy as it could be. I say that because of the previous person that removed the fuel pump. He couldn’t get the retaining ring to lock in so he moved to the first notch then hammered down the tabs. Once I figured out what he did I removed the pump, used channel locks and adjusted each tab to as close to original as I could. Installed the pump and retaining ring, placed the installation tool on the ring and it took a breaker bar with a short cheater to snap the ring into its proper place. I suggest you do yourself a favor, buy the right tools to replace this fuel pump. The combo pump and fuel regulator is worth it as well as the proper tool. I hope this info helps you. Dave55

Had a P0171 CEL, shop told me I needed a new fuel pump and quoted me $1,070. (600 for the pump and 400 labor) ordered this instead. Installed myself. Saved $850 dollars and so far so good.

After installing the fuel pump the gas gauge in the car no longer works, so no I have to drive by mileage instead of the gas gauge. The pump fit and the car runs you just never know how much gas you have in the car and all of the labor to install another one. 🙁

It might say for Nissan note but it’s the exact same one for Nissan Versa to it is perfect and really cheap to.
