Bad product, major leaks just from priming.

THE PART WAS INSTALLED BY OUR MECHANIC. AND THE PART WAS FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE DUE TO IT LEAKING FUEL FROM THE BODY OF THE PUMP. ACCORDING TO AMAZON THE PUMP COULD NOT BE RETURNED. I CALLED THE MANUFACTURE ABOUT WARRANTY. AND I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO GO THROUGH AMAZON. THIS IS VERY DISAPPOINTING GETTING THE RUN AROUND AND I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. AND AMAZON HAS CHARGED MY OUTLOOK ON THEM AS WELL.

Perfect match. Worked for about 2 hours run time and began running fuel out of the body of the pump. JUNK

I purchased this to replace a vacuum fuel pump on a Honda GX630 engine. While attempting to start, once the fuel reached the pump it started leaking from the bottom. At first I thought it was a hose, so I checked to make sure they were tight. Then I connected a small reservoir of fuel above the pump so that gravity would feed it and it wouldn’t have to rely on suction. The pump immediately started to leak fuel without the engine even running. I removed the pump and inspected the housing. I gently pulled on the lid to see if there were any gaps for the fuel to leak out of. The entire top of the fuel assembly sprang apart!
