The fuel gauge part didn’t work

We love this seller! The fuel pump for the 92 dodge works wonderfully! (First one had an issues and we contacted the seller!) The seller was wonderful and kind and offered help and got another part. Its nice to hear the truck up and running!!! Just so kind even checked up and see if we got the new one and if it worked right!!! If we could i would give 20 stars for customer service! Truely the best!!

Works great got the pump and now I can see how much gas I have. I put about 300 miles on in and it still running great so think I will not have any problems with it in the future.

This fuel pump assembly did not arrive as shown in the photos. It did not include a fuel filter sock or the elbow that the fuel filler attaches to. It also does not come with the gas tank vent, but most other units do not include this either and good luck finding one for sale anywhere. The bottom of this assembly is completely flat as well rather than having standoffs for the sock as shown in the photos. It is far from identical to the previous units in my 1992 Dodge Dakota.
Due to the necessity of repairing my truck I had no choice but to make do and made a seal for the hole where the vent goes and made sure I had a venting fuel cap to make up for it.

Fuel pump went bad after my son cut the ignition off at gas station. This was the easy way of replacing the fuel pump with housing. The last fuel pump I installed I took the housing apart and made it work at my house in a garage with all the tools. I ordered the complete housing and all. I had to change it 60 miles away with the tools I had. The best way is to raise the bed on the driver’s side. Remove 4 bolts and loosen 4 on the other side. Take gas fuel housing out and the tail light connector on driver side. I used a 1/2 drive impact to remove and loosen the 8 15mm bolts. Lift the bed and put a small jack and a 2×4 to hold the bed up safely. The hardest part was removing the overflow and the pressure switch. Now to see the pump will last. I installed the pump on a 1993 Dodge Dakota sport 15 gallon tank. Everything works but the fuel gauge doesn’t read right. The arm is to long. I’m going to put the old gas gauge arm on it when I can get to it. It is not that hard of a job if you have all the tools.

I bought this fuel pump to resolve two issues with my truck one being the sending unit was going out in my fuel pump as well as the pump was getting weak and not holding pressure causing a hard start issue got this fuel pump and installed it no problem except for the fact that my fuel Guage does not work at all now where before it would bounce around between half and full if there was more than a half tank and worked fine anything below half tank now its forever on empty with the fuel light on constant, and the truck is now even harder to start because this fuel pump has even less pressure than the old pump had and now when sitting at a stoplight I have to keep one foot on the brake and the other on the gas keeping it above 1000 rpms otherwise it will die and possibly not want to start again
