Get a good one. This one is cheap, the retaining ring broke almost immediately, and not worth it. Frankly a rag works better than this one.

This cap fits on top of the diesel hole. But I was deceived on description. The plastic cap has an attachment to wrap around the diesel hole (I can’t think of the word to describe it, it goes on where you put the diesel hose). But our truck doesn’t have lip on the spot where the plastic lid will attach. So we cut that part off of the cap. FYI we have a 2021 RAM 2500 cumins diesel for reference.
