Works as well as OEM, plugged right in and operates without any issues in my 09 Suzuki Equator.
Constant Traveler –
Once you get the panels and isolation covering off and get into the nitty-gritty of actually touching the motor assembly this is a good install job for any shade-tree mechanic.
Before you start detaching the window glass itself, tape it up tp the door frame with masking tape so it can stay put while you remove/replace the mechanism.
My truck spends all its time in desert areas in Texas/New Mexico, so the fine sand-dust gets in there and mucks up the mechanism. As age stepped in, the drivers window mechanism could not stand it anymore and the window moved only on short one inch juts at a time with each press of the button. Then the motor gave up.
This new assembly fixed that right up. After replacing the mechanism/motor assembly and cleaning the nasty sand out of the window guides, the window now works as intended. Great.
