I had to hold up the hood with a stick. Now I do not have to. Simple install and the hood now stays up on it’s own.

I actually ordered these for a 2006 Crown Victoria as the ‘ol Google said they were the correct length and would fit the car, even though the Amazon true fit thing said they were not compatible. They did indeed fit and took about 10 minutes to install, half of that time being trying to figure out HOW to remove the clips from the old ones and put these on, lol. Being my first time having to replace these I found it difficult at first, but once you watch a youtube video on it, then feel stupid for realizing how easy it is, you will not have any issues getting these on your vehicle with ease.
They have been on this car for about a month now, and they have been performing admirably and just like, if not better, than the originals.
