For about the price of one strut at your local parts store, you can get two. Initial quality is good. Its probably the same part with a different name at the usual suspects store.
Farmer –
I ordered these to have on hand for my new (to me) F-350. Coincidentally, the next day one of the struts failed and the hood banged me on the head. I was po’d to the max and texted my sales lady. They had me bring it in for new struts for free. Now I have new struts and this set of great looking new struts in reserve so I guess I’m good on struts for at least the next 10 years.
Although it’s difficult to test struts, I see absolutely no problem with these. They’re a bit different with the screw on ends but that’s just fine. I see no reason not rto recommend these.
