That’s the right filter for my SUV.

Did have to trim some glue to get to fit.
Better than the oem that was there.

Fram, do better. I have been a customer since I worked at a shop when I was 14. 46 now. Never seen a more poorly executed product. While it is the “correct” size, their manufacturing tolerances have allowed the side pieces to be slightly too large once assembled and the glue is applied. The foam gaskets on the side snag as well. When inserting, the hard edges are just a little too tall and snag the assembly. This crumbles up the filter and ruins the structural integrity of the surrounding frame of the filter. Then the only way to get it out is to pull and extend the accordion wave, thus damaging filter further.
Done filter replacements tons of times, even have done some rental vans because they stunk so bad when I picked them up. Never have I ever had an issue.
30 second job, now an hour with a trip to the autoparts store. Thanks for nothing Fram.

The filter is fine but for Ford Fusion cars 2013 onwards they are difficult to install because they have a small membrane on the sides that is a little larger than normal and they do not fit properly and when you try to do so you break it and it definitely cannot be done
el filtro esta bien pero para carros ford fusion 2013 en adelante son difíciles de instalar pues tienen una pequeña membrana a los lados un poco más grande de lo normal y no entran adecuadamente y al tratar de hacerlo lo rompes y definitivamente no se puede
