The filter fits but not as well as an OEM filter. It is not as flexible so you have to really reach into the ventilation duct and help it weave its way into position. The OEM filter was far more flexible so it just slides up into the slot. There are a couple good youtube videos that show how to perform the swap.

It fit my Mini just as it should. If anything, installing it myself was a good thing as the last installer just jammed the last filter in apparently and it wasn’t being very functional. Installed this with ease, and I have no issue with it. No bad odors in the car. Would buy again when I’m due to do so again.
