If you have the Active, or RS model of the Chevrolet Trailblazer, you have the 1.3L engine. This is a new part number by Fram for that engine. It WILL NOT fit the 1.2 engine found on lesser models. The price is considerably higher compared to other part numbers in the orange can. Not sure why, maybe because it`s “new”.

I have used Fram filters in most of my vehicles. Never had an issue. I am using full synthetic oil that meets OEM specifications. Included this info as some people ask if it takes a particular filter when using synthetic,
Price was about $6 cheaper for same filter purchased locally.
