Perhaps this is the norm with BMW oil filters but I was pleasently surprised to find a drain plug washer in the bag o’ washers that comes with the filter. Happy Motoring.

I switch back to FRAM to see if this filter is better than the MANN filter. I have always used FRAM in the past, but I switched to MANN because a reputable source said that the MANN filter is better. Now I am using a FRAM filter and I am testing the hypothesis to see with filter is best. I will let you know what the results are when I have completed the test and compiled the data.
