Before you scoff – and decide that I am blind and/or stunned, please consider:
I entered these search terms: “ford ranger cabin air filter”
And I was taken to a page with three choices – all around the same price. Since I know and respect the Fram brand, I clicked on that, and on the top of the item page, it said: “This item fits your 2011 Ford Ranger”
I was pleased to see this verification, so I confidently bought it.
Um…
It is an ENGINE filter – not a CABIN filter. (And I don’t even know what a “panel” filter is…but I feel that the word “panel” is far more suggestive of “cabin” than “engine”. But that’s just my opinion)
In hindsight – okay – I suppose I should have checked more thoroughly. But I sometimes forget that when you search for something *specific*, Amazon still shows you three hundred & eighteen products…most of which are not even remotely associated with what you searched for. In this case – with just three similar options shown – I obviously lost my mind for a moment and got burned.
Yeah yeah – I can return it. And it’s not a black mark against Fram, which I know make excellent products for a good price. But it’s annoying to slip up like this, and to consider that it will probably happen to someone else for the same reason.

Poke a hole thru the middle and it will fit on a Predator 670
