I’m replacing a K&N filter with this. I want to see if my mileage gets better. The filter fits my 2007 Toyota Tacoma and is easy to install. It’s a good price and a name brand.
Update: I haven’t driven my truck enough to check the mileage, but I just watched a video that tested air filters. It seems WIX and Purolator are superior at keeping dirt out. The K&N allows more air into the engine. All three are made in the USA. (Denso makes Toyota’s OEM air filters. Also made in the US.)

Air filters are like Oil filters, how do we have a way to evaluate one from another. We can handle it, look at it but we have no real way to properly evaluate one from another. I have used Fram products for years and they seem well made and I am going by the value and name and experience with their products overall. So I give it a five star from that perspective. It works, it filters dirt out of the air flow and that is what I am looking for.
