Exact fit for my 2006 Hyundai Sonata GLS vehicle. Works great and costs so much less than taking it somewhere. Took maybe a whole 4 min to install this puppy! Get extra so you have some on hand. These filters do help the engine a lot. Just make sure you place the filter in the exact position as your previous version. There is a slant to this filter.
I just wish the cabin filter was as easy as this Engine filter is to change.

The fit in the filter box was a bit off. I had a terrible time closing the last clip. I thought I did something wrong so I removed it and dropped in the old filter which was an OEM part. The box closed easily. I then removed it and retried the Fram – same trouble closing the final clip. I ordered an OEM filter and will toss this one as soon as it arrives. This is, however, the first time I’ve had a fitment problem with Fram and will now only order an OEM engine air filter for the Sonata. Oh, I researched the part number on both the Amazon and Fram websites – they both agreed with the part number ordered for the 2009 V6.

This Fram air filter works perfectly in my car. General maintenance is key to keeping your car running. And here in Kansas City we do love our cars. To keep up with the sprawling and busy city, a properly maintained vehicle will keep you on the up and up. As Kansas City continues to grow so will car maintenance. Also proper maintenance helps decrease fuel consumption which helps keep this beautiful KC air clean for years to follow.

Only good things to say about this vendor (PartsMonkey). There was a mix up with the filter of which I noticed after a month, as it was winter and too late to install. Parts Monkey did an exchange in a timely manner and I am very impressed. I have purchased a bunch of parts of these guys. Awesome. (also Fram filters are good quality and the only air filters I use due to price and quality)
