This pump worked for about five short runs on the ranger, then it burnt out and was not functioning. Can’t really say it was a poor quality pump as there could be more to it life then we are aware of at this time.

Installation was a breeze, everything bolted up in it’s proper place, it started right up, no issues. I didn’t get to give it a long run time because I still had on my trailer. Today was the first time I had a chance to give my Ranger a good testing out. It ran for about a total of 30 minutes and stopped wouldn’t restart, mind you I replaced all hoses, inline gas filter, also the small filter that’s inside the tank before I installed the fuel pump. This is the first time I have had any issues with my Ranger. Its a 2004 500cc with 435 hours on the engine. I can’t say that I happened to get a bad fuel pump, but none the less. I broke down and bought a OEM for $245.00, everything is running good now.
