Worked as it should

This is the only one I’ve found on Amazon that has the correct gauge wiring. All the others use inadequate wire size that causes overheating and damage – very dangerous.

2006 4D Tacoma TRD sport 4X4 197000 miles, my son kept telling me his fan blower was cutting in an out checked the plug and saw it was a bit burned on the plug, found this on Amazon and 15 mins later done, perfect fit, quick fix!!

Just what I needed, as my previous connector burned on one side. Note the wires colors did not match up on my 2011 Taco. I forgot to remember the orientation when I cut the connector off. I ended up matching black to black. The motor ran, but I could get no blowing out. I figured that the poles were reversed and the motor was running in the other direction. Luckily I did not use the provided splice connectors. I used some twist caps that I had. So, it was easy to stop the truck, and change the wires. Works like a charm.

The wire guage on this item is NOT factory specifications and going to a high draw unit such as a blower motor is clearly too much current. See the pics. This was a connector that was also packed with di-electric grease. I got lucky and no fire.

Installed on a 2014 Toyota Tacoma to fix intermittent connectivity issues; the factory plug has a problem and will short out/lose connection to the fan after a while. Cut the plug off and use this one as a “fix”. Seems like I have to do this every 2-3 years.

It work/fit just perfect on my 2005 Tacoma, I went to 2 different dealers and they could not help me.
One told me that they don’t make them any more, they came out with a new adapter but he did not have one in stock, the other said I would have to buy a complete harness and they to did not one on hand.
So I ask the part guy, if I would bring my truck into the shop what would they do, He said that I need to talk to the service person, so I did.
To make a long story short, the service guy when to parts and did the same thing, but he found the part number and its the same one that I ordered from Amazon.
I also replace the blower it did not look right, the connectors were all black, it still work but I did not want to take a change on burning the plug.

Cheap hit here fast and it worked. Easy to change.
