I have had several in car phone holders that worked fine, but blocked parts of my car controls as well as my A/C vents. This holder seemed like the perfect solution, because the only large flat surface I have in my car for mounting things is the top of the dash. This phone mount is superior to others because it folds down and allows my to mount it to the top of the dash, but still have the phone visible in the center of the dash front. The adhesive has held up well so far (and it has been under the strain of not only the phone weight, but also removing the phone from the very strong magnet). The magnet is super strong, which is nice because my last magnetic holder would drop the phone if it wasn’t put on there just right. If you have an older car and need somewhere to put your phone while you are driving (for maps), this is a great option. You need to have a magnetic back on your phone or your phone case. The holder does come with a metal ring you can attach to your phone to make it magnetic.

The product is good but the adhesive that comes with it can not stand the Texas heat. Every time I get inside my vehicle, the adhesive or stickiness of it comes off like it’s so hot it melts the sticky material of it. The good thing is it doesn’t leave marks or stain on the vehicle dashboard. But it will be pretty useless of the adhesive is not working.

I’ve had this phone holder for a week now, and so far it’s doing well. I love the size – that it doesn’t take up much space in my car, and that I could place it in a spot that doesn’t interfere with my ac vents or steering wheel. It rotates in many directions so it’s very versatile and holds my phone in its magnetic case very securely as I am driving.

It’s hard to choose a good phone holder these days, because there are just so many and you don’t know which ones are of the best quality across the board. This @utos Folding MagSafe Phone Holder for Car Dashboard with 360° Rotation is one of them!
The sticky base is made of 3M adhesive, which is very much *the* actual best adhesive you can buy, and has been for years. 3M adhesives do the job and they do it well. You won’t have to worry about it losing it’s tack over time and eventually falling off your dash. Just ensure that you clean the spot where you’ll be placing the phone holder with an alcohol wipe first. Adhesion gets 5 stars for me alone.
Next we have the overall build and architecture of the MagSafe holder. It is built very well with what seems to be and feels like great quality material. Metal, I believe. It has the ability to fold down and collapse onto itself for when you are not using it. I like that feature, it’s sleek. The color of the build is a nice jet black, which I also like very much. It has the 360 rotation which is perfect if you need to adjust the ring at any time.
The magnetic power of this phone holder is outstanding! Some magnets claim MagSafe quality but your phone will drop down after any given time. This is not a magnet that has that capacity. Once it is on there, it is stuck on there until you pull it off with your hands. You will pull your phone off in a very easy, clean manner. Not like you have to pry it off or anything.
I’ve been using this daily for my side gig as an Uber Eats driver. It has not failed me once and I love that it helps me to not have to hold my phone at all, which is obviously very dangerous.

I really like the design of this phone mount. My older chevy doesn’t have carplay so I wanted to mount my phone somewhere safe while not detracting from the overall aesthetic of the interior. This design is very compact and the matte black makes it less noticeable. Placement is key – I didn’t want to block the vents, the radio, or have it stick out too far. I also wanted to find a surface that it would adhere to. I found one little corner of the trim that worked perfect. Will all the different options to rotate I was able to position this perfectly. Time will tell if the 3M mount (two included) will handle the heat and humidity of FL.

I’ve never had a phone mount for my car before so this is going to be so nice! I have the iPhone 15 with metal part on the back. It works so nice. We will see if it lasts next summer though
