This cap does the job, it locks but it is hard to put the key in. It is a little difficult to know if it’s tight when you are putting it on, too. Overall, it does do the job.

Who knew I’d have this problem of someone stealing gas from my car, but I did. I’ve had to install alarms on my windows, tire stem valves you need a special wench to unlock and now a lock gas cap. I have solved the immediate problem but don’t know why they are targeting my car specifically. At least this cap works and is easy to use.

Had the dreaded engine light last week! Ran the code and all that came up was – – d0ne – – A search said likely electrical or fuel cap. Everything was starting/running as it should but the fuel cap was wiggly. I ordered this, took out the OEM cap and popped this one in. The dreaded light went away. Problem solved AND bonus that it locks! Very happy with this purchase.
