Good Spacer/ insulator to cure vapor lock & heatsoak most prominently Carter AFB/AVS/Edelbrock carburetors.
Has the added bonus of making your divorced choke work.
(Correct choke rod length to choke flap, just like the factory settup)
Engine: 361 Big block Chrysler with a Carter #4635S, sitting on a #2806301 intake.
(Engine has yet to run, but I’m confident the spacer will help with vapor lock. Also modifying the throttle linkage, reason why it’s not running)

“This gasket has metal bolt sleeves in each hole. These sleeves do not compress and hold the carburetor up from making a seal. Compared to the 60123 gasket that came off the car and had plastic inserts which can compress, this gasket will not seal. It is also only about 2/3 as thick as the gasket which came off. Wasted time looking for a leak and finally figured out it was the new gasket. Do not buy this.”
I read this too late, I had the same problem and never thought it could be the gasket. Two carb rebuilds later, ignition checks, power valves and it turn out to be the fel-pro gasket! Another great American company bites the dust.

Not like pictured. Metal corners, will not seal, wish I’d read reviews before ordering
