These sensors are an incredible value. $19 (Sep ’23) will give me a meh pizza and a soda filled half with ice. Don’t get me wrong, I really do like Pizza, but I also love cheap electronic parts that let me build projects that would have cost hundreds of dollars just a couple years ago. These switch my outdoor lights much more reliable and at a fraction of the cost what the big box stores ask for a dedicated low voltage photo resistor switch. Five stars from me. I hope this helps to make a decision.

The module works just as you’d expect. It switches a 12v input with no issues. I’m using mine to control a 12v input going in to a DC-DC charger so that it only takes amperage from my running engine if the sun isn’t out… saving fuel economy this way. I’m happy with the function.
