EX27 –
Super easy to install, there’s four 10mm bolts that hold on the side cover for the EX27 engine. You also have to removed the air filter and carburetor in order to pass the coil wire behind another sheet metal cover around the engine, but that’s only 2 nuts on studs through the carburetor and 1 bolt down through the air filter housing. I had my new coil installed, and wrapped a new pull cord on the recoil starter, in about 20 minutes.
