I got this backup camera for my husband’s truck, and it has been a really useful addition to his truck, because the camera fitted quite well on his old truck and when he is going to reverse, he gets a clear rear view. Plus, it worked with the 12-24V DC power in the truck and a long RCA video cable, and since the truck’s radio had an RCA connector, everything connected smoothly and worked without any issues.
What I liked most was how the camera could adjust its angle up and down automatically, and the wide viewing angle made reversing much safer. Installing the camera was pretty easy too, because the kit came with most of the things we needed, so we just hooked up the camera’s power to the reversing light and connected the RCA cable to the radio screen.
During the day, the video quality has been really clear, and the night vision is also quite decent, so the glass lens and the eight LED lights are providing some bright and colorful images even in the dark, which I appreciate. All in all, this camera has made parking and reversing much safer and easier for my husband, and we are both happy with it.
