The engine air filter from EPAuto looks and feels like it’s a quality item. The filter fit perfectly in my car. I’m not a gearhead or anything so I can’t tell you the merits or lack thereof between one filter and the next. All I know is that I like saving money and this air filter is an excellent value and when you replace your filter yourself, you’re saving even more money. For the cost of this engine air filter and a cabin air filter and about ten minutes of my time, I saved roughly $90 over the cost the dealership wanted to charge me to do the work.

In my opinion this is a difficult product to rate. I can say it seems to fit in the vehicle well and it does trap debris like other filters I have seen. But how well does it really work? – as an average consumer I have no way of knowing the answer to that as it would take some sophisticated testing laboratory to measure it properly. I might be able to tell you better after 200,000 miles that it worked well or didn’t work well – but hard to do so at this point – that is the nature of filters (both these filters and those costing twice as much)
So, I am left with (1) it fits in my vehicle, (2) it traps debris, (3) my vehicle seems to run fine. There are plenty of other filters available that cost more but I can’t say that they work better so I will stick with these and change them very regularly.

Was easy to install on my 2015 Honda Accord LX. Would have liked it a little bit more snug of a fit but I believe it is within spec and have no worries of it not being sealed around the outside. Has the same number of pleates as an OEM Honda air filter and didn’t feel like a cheap aftermarket filter. Will check it at 6 months and again at 12 months when I normally change the filter to see how dirty it is. If similar to the OEM then will keep, but if it looks cleaner I may even replace earlier as the cost of even an OEM filter is nothing compared to keeping an engine in top shape.

Why pay so much for dealer prices when you can get this for so much cheaper. Don’t pay for the ‘H’ emblem!
