Our youngest son of my first wife has this old Tucson he uses in college and it’s a great little car, but these engines are kind of difficult if they’re not maintained, and I mean the full deal – including timing chain and those CVVT phasers need to be changed out because they just clog with oil. This kit is a good choice because the phasers are included and they do work well. I got him back on the road in an afternoon of changeover at my shop (my crew did most of it) and I drove it myself to feel the power increase when the advance is done properly. I’m happy with this kit.
