Useless didn’t fit

Tube is too large to fit into 350 block. Purchased higher cost dip stick and it slide in easily and sealed well so the problem is not the engine.

diameter was too large to fit in my 1986 350 small block. passenger side port. got a replacement and had the same issue

It’s a dipstick.
It comes in a silvery aluminum color and arrived in good shape.
It is not chrome plated.
The length of both tube and stick are able to be shortened it you take it apart and cut a little bit off.
Remove the handle to shorten the dipstick.
Take apart the hex fittings to shorten the tube.
You can get a 45⁰ bend in the tube before the stick binds up.
If you spin the dipstick handle in your fingertips as you drop into the tube it makes going together easier.

I used this on a passenger-side dipstick engine from a 1980 Corvette. It fits well and the flexible tube and adjustable mounting bracket allowed it to fit around my headers. It adds a touch of class to the engine compartment, too!

While the dipstick tube fit the block correctly once it was installed the actual dipstick won’t fully insert into the tube. Making it pretty but not functional.
