Mounted onto a Ford 3400 Diesel. Heats engine up to starting temperature within 2 hours.
Longevity yet to be understood.

Put this on my home standby generator about a month ago and so far its been great. I was debating between the 1000 and 1500 watt one, choose the 1500 watt unit. When replacing realized my existing heater was 1000 watt, but with the thermostat, not really a big deal as it will just warm up faster.
