2009 Dodge Avenger 2.4L. Idiot light indicated Electronic Throttle Control, but that wasn’t the problem. After spending a lot of time and money fruitlessly I invested in a simple and cheap obdII reader that told me the ckp sensor was the problem. A little internet searching led me to a video on how to replace it and sure enough that solved it. Pic shows the package saying it was a camshaft sensor, not crankshaft. They are both shown and are nothing alike. That did not, however, warrant any less than 5 stars as it worked flawlessly.

Ordered and received. Installed by a professional mechanic, the part worked for about a week and then stopped working completely while my family and I were out of town for the weekend at a theme park. This faulty unit cost us almost an additional $1000 in towing, car rental and Uber fees. Not to mentioned our ruined weekend because we were stuck waiting on service longer than the time spent at the actual theme parks! Extremely disappointed with the lack of quality control!

This product will not replace OEM or store brand part. The computer doesn’t recognize it for the jeep patriot.
