This item is listed as the engine air filter for a 2006 Honda Civic. Picture I uploaded shows the listed item next to the real filter. When I just went to check to see if it was me who made the mistake, this is on the items page : “Frequently returned item Check the product details and customer reviews to learn more about this item.”. That was not there when I purchased the item. Here’s the kicker, AMAZON said this filter fits your 2006 Honda Civic !! To add to my frustration, I waited too long to install it so now I can’t even return it !!!

I drive a 2008 Honda Civic EX and was very happy to find that this was a perfect match / fit for my car. In the picture, the old filter is to the left (the dirty one) and this filter is on the right (the clean one). Same size, shape, fit.
The rubber lining around the edge did feel a tiny bit more loose on this one than the one I removed. It also didn’t sit quite as flush in its’ spot, but it seemed very minor and since it is locked in place with the lid, I think it is just fine.

Again Amazon is at fault, since it says it fats my vehicle. It doesn’t. When I put it in the filter was too loose.
