Installed a few months back. Have put of 20 000 km on since with no regrets. Does not come with dielectric grease so be sure to pick some up for when you install them

These fit my explorer and fixed my problem for half the price of local stores

The ENA 8 Straight Boot Ignition Coils, DG511 compatible coils were installed in my 2006 f150. They were a perfect fit and are functioning fine so far. Paid less for 8 than what it cost for one OEM coil. Very apprehensive about purchasing these, but they look of fine quality and are working fine (haven’t driven the vehicle much, yet).
I am very happy with the price and the function so far. Will update if there are any changes.
Update 10/29/18: I know it hasn’t been an extended time since my purchase in August, but wanted to give an update. I just returned from a 1700 mile round trip and my truck ran like a champ. All COPs continue to function as they should and the truck did not suffer from any shutter or missing. I know others have had issues, but to this point I am very happy with the purchase of these and their price.
Update 11/7/19: So it’s been a little over a year and I recently just returned from my annual trip to Texas. I’m pulling one star from the previous 5 star rating. My f150 started the shuttering/missing on the #4 plug. So, 1 failure in one year. I still think they were worth the price, especially considering the age of the truck and the cost of OEM cops.
Update 10/28/22: This will be last update. Cannot complain about this product. No additional failures after tens of thousands of miles. The COPs are still going strong!

These were the straight ones which fit my 2006 F-150 5.4 Triton. My truck only has 70k miles, but it started to “shudder” when going into overdrive at 45-50 miles per hour. Wasn’t the transmission, it was a misfire, probably on one of the back cylinders (3,4, or 8) which are susceptible to water coming through the hood seal.
If you do this yourself, you will have to have a lot of patience to get the back 2 cylinders on the passenger side (3&4) as they are difficult to reach with the major wiring harness and other stuff passing over them. I have smaller hands and was able to reach through and, with various extensions and a flexible parts grabber was able to get it done. To get at cylinders 3 & 4, It might be best to take out the battery, remove the PCM connectors, remove the 4 bolts in the PCM, and remove the back plate for the PCM.
Very important to blow everything off well with your air compressor before starting and blow out each spark plug with the coil pack removed. Keep a good grip on the back retaining screws. If you lose them back there it may be hard to find them again. It’s not a fun job because of all of the stuff running just over the heads, but, with patience, it can be done.
Pulling the wiring connector is easy. There is a squeeze tab way at the top connector on the side opposite of the retaining screw. Squeeze it and wiggle and the connector will come right off. It took me a bit to figure out where this tab was. For some of the cylinders it’s easier to first take off the injector connector (the white one). That has an easy to see, but different tab. When I did 3 & 4, I took both out first and then replaced 4 and then 3, as it was easier to replace 4 with 3 out.
It’s hard to be sure that you actually have the new one connected to the spark plug. Ease it straight down in the hole with the tab aligned with the retainer screw hole. The insulator has protrusions to keep it straight in the hole. Push it down hard and it should seat so that you can’t easily pull it back up. There will be a small gap between the retaining arm and the head, so don’t worry that it’s not all of the way on. Put the screw in and tighten it down and replace the connector. The connector will make a small snap when in place and you will not be able to pull it back without squeezing the tab.
I started my truck after each coil pack install to ensure that it was seated properly and that it was a good coil pack. I crossed my fingers and took it for a road test and, sure enough, the shudder was gone and the engine idled totally smooth. So I guess these coil packs were all good.

Ok. Was nervous buying these coils since all 8 of these for my 07 F150 FX4 cost less than half of the price as one Motorcraft coil from the dealer.
These were direct replacements for the original coil and if all you need is the boot if your old boots are worn then the boot is capable of being swapped over to the factory coils. However the spring inside is a larger diameter than the factory spring and does not make solid contact with the blade inside the factory coil head. So they are not a safe replacent for the spring in an old coil pack head.
Now I installed these coils on all 8 cylinders on 7/24/24 and they have been working fantastically since day one.
I will update this review as time goes along or if one or more of the coils fail in the future but as of right now 8/14/24 could not be happier since I was able to replace all 8 for less than the price of one.

My 05 Ford Expedition Limited Edition transmission started jerking when going from 35 to 40 miles an hour. After reading and doing some research I started by changing the transmission oil but it only helped a little and went right back to having the same problem. Afterwards I spoke to a friend of mine that works in transmision and we did a road test with a scanner hook up to the computer. He mentioned that this was not a transmission problem and rather a spark plugs problem and to replace them not with aftermarket ones but to use the original. This was a challenging job since they do break as they are being removed but I proceeded to replace all 8 spark plugs. Again the truck ran a little bit better but continue to have the same issues , now the transmission is jerking not only going from 35 to 40 miles an hour but also going from 50 to 65. I continue to use my truck like this for about another year, finally I decided to proceed in change the coils and went on the Amazon website and found these. I wanted to buy the Motorcraft but my budget did not allow to make such expense even though I will be doing the work myself. After reading many reviews on these coils and could not pass up on the price I proceeded to purchase them. My son and I went to work upon receiving the coils and to my surprise finally my truck is running as it once did brand new. I highly recommend these coils, they’re inexpensive and have far exceeded my expectations. The job took no more than an hour to change all coils in it has been the best decision.
