Had a miss in the number 4 cylinder. Verified it with an OBDII code reader. Don’t believe plugs or coils were ever replaced in this vehicle before so bought the set along with spark plugs. Not too difficult to remove and replace but if these type of coils are new to you as they were to me, do a Google and look at a Youtube or two. Once replaced car was running good again. No doubt I saved some money with this DIY as opposed to taking it to a garage. If you can remove a spark plug, you can do probably do this job. (Only you know the truth.) Might be a good idea to take one coil off and get a look at before you order. Amazon’s part match can give you the wrong coil as it did me. Make sure it looks the same before you order.

I installed these in March on 2018, initially they worked well. My gas millage increased a little bit and the engine was running well. In mid November the first one began to fail, when it started to get cold out that one was swapped out with a new pack from a local auto store. Its now December and another one has begun to fail and I have had to replace that one. Others are randomly not firing. My only guess is that these coil packs are not handling the cold weather. I am getting multiple misfiring cylinders when I start my Jeep up and its cold, below 20F its noticeable. Once the engine and the coils warm up the misses go away. I have metered the coils with a multi meter and when very cold they are out of spec, when warmed up they are within spec. Spend a little more on some higher quality coil packs.

I put them in my 07 Raider today with new plugs. I now have better power.

Fit my sisters 2008 Jeep Liberty.. 3.7L engine, I believe. Helped improve mpg and quicker/smoother starting. Also changed the spark plugs at the same time. Been going good for a couple months now… Guess we’ll see how long they last.

Her jeep has about 110k on it. Had been getting poor gas mileage, a little rough idling, and would need to be keyed for 2 or 3 turns of the engine to start up. One time it started but had a hard misfire, which went away when turned off and restarted. I do a decent amount of mechanic work, and given the symptoms and miles on it, I figured it was due for new coils

After replacing coils and plugs, it’s getting it’s typical fuel economy (still not great, btw) and is starting with only 1-2 turns of the engine once keyed. When it starts and idles, it sounds and feels much smoother than before. At just over 100,000 miles, they were overdue for replacement, and seemed to have fixed the problems.

The box said something like, ‘ these are a set, do not separate’. So I’m hoping/assuming they did resistance testing and paired up similar units, which is a good thing.

No complaints as long as they hold up. I’ve seen cheap coils fail much much earlier than they should, so keeping fingers crossed with these. But so far so good, and I’d recommend them. If you ha e one coil going out, you want to replace them all in one shot. You can save used but still good ones for spares, but it’s not recommended that you mix and match coils. Can get you by in a pinch tho

I purchased these and my car is an 8 cylinder so I thought I would have to purchase two separate one, but when I received the package, all 8 coils were packed in the box. They all looked the same and nothing gave me the impression that they were used or damaged. I was able to install them and my error code went away, but I felt the difference in my Dodge 2004 Durango. The pick up is much more responsive. I’m going to order 4 for my Toyota Corolla soon. They shipped immediately and was able to get them installed without a hitch.

    P0306 code misfire #6 cylinder.

Replaced all 6 coil packs today with this set along with a new set of NGK copper core spark plugs. Jeep runs great. Product looks identical to oem coil packs. Slightly (I mean very very slightly) different on top, but they look identical everywhere else. The fit is very snug on the spark plugs as well as in the chamber. Electrical plug fit back snug with no issues. Will update my review if I happen to have an issue that I find is an issue with the packs themselves.

Almost 4 months later and still no issues with any of the coil packs.

Used it for my Jeep Part fits perfect

  8. Tracy Sellman

2 of the 6 coils burned out after only 1 year and just over 8,000 miles, the first coil split down the side and caused a horrible misfire, replaced it with my old OEM unit, and the problem was solved, the second coil made it about another 1,000 miles farther to 9,000 miles and was leaking spark and the bottom boot, took it off and sealed the boot with High temp Silicone to the plastic coil housing. But this lasted for another 100 miles before burning and splitting down the side, these coils are ok for just a temporary fix but nothing like the OEM or a High-performance replacement.

me gusto el envió bien empaquetado y la utilidad será para un vehículo ya nomas resta probar las bobinas.

  10. Sal

I’m sure these won’t last as long as the more premium brands but it’s a good trade off because of its price. I’ve been running mine for about 6 months and they’re perfect. Not a single misfire code since installing.
