Car would only go 5-10mph. Replaced the throttle body and it resolved the issue. Installation on a 2016 Jeep compass was not hard. It has been months and still going good. No Issues.

I bought this Throttle Body to replace the problematic one in my 2011 Dodge Caliber 2.0 SXT. Problem solved. Very Happy. Quality product. No issues. Drove without any incidents. Thank You so Much!

I purchased this part for my 2013 dodge avenger. I was thrilled with the price as it was more than half of the cost as the local parts store. The part was installed the weekend after we received it and worked ok for a few days. Maybe the first week. My car has been in the garage since then. The mechanic working on my car initially ruled out the issue being a problem with the throttle body because it was brand new and just replaced. He thought maybe the issue was a problem with the sensor in the foot pedal and replaced that. That wasn’t it. He thought that maybe the wires were bad.. nope, not it either. Tried another throttle body and it works. My mechanic explained that there are 2 sensors within the throttle body, and one of the ones that are in the part we received is bad. With all of the positive reviews, i am thinking we just got a faulty part that could have been replaced but by time we discovered that part is bad, we are just past the 30 day return window. And having to buy the part locally because my 1 car family just can not go any longer without a car. I have messaged the seller and hoping that i can return and receive a refund.
UPDATE: i have changed my review from 1 star to 3 star due to the customer service of the seller. I believe that i just received a faulty part and sometimes, that happens. If i would have had the time to wait for a replacement part i would have given this seller another try and i will consider them again in the future. They were very prompt with all correspondence and were able to address my problems with compassion and understanding.

I have a 2016 Jeep Patriot 4WD (their version of AWD), 2.4L engine. I had about 55000 miles on it and it started to miss intermittently. I changed the plugs, and coils, which seemed to help for a short while. It started missing again, so I replaced the throttle body with this one. I was impressed by the quality of this TB; the machining looked good, it was very clean with no marks on it, and it had a lot of good reviews from buyers. The price was good also, and it comes with the O ring gasket. Anyway, this TB solved my problem! I have about 3000 miles on it, and my engine is still running great! No missing! It’s fairly easy to replace…I did remove the battery for better access, and it’s kind of hard to see the TB from the top. If you removed the shield on the bottom it would probably be easy to see, but I did it from the top. I’m still amazed that I had to replace mine at 55000 miles. I’m not impressed with this car, but it seems to be running well now. I can’t vouch for the long term reliability of the TB, but it’s working great so far!

This replaced the one on my 2014 Jeep patriot. Vehicle went into limp mode. As with everyone else, thought I would put in my two cents, but it’s typical the plastic gears stripped! I doubt there are replacement ones made out of metal which last! But, other than cost savings there may be technical reasons for making them out of plastic.
The replacement was not all that hard, the one hard part is getting to the lower band clamp screw witch is difficult! Don’t try using a screwdriver, use a 8mm socket with some sort of small ratchet, much easier!
I did clean and lube with a little KY gel the inside lip of the lower air intake hose, this makes it slip on easily and completely, it is difficult to see and you must make sure its on, oh and im sure vaseline and such would work, I don’t use auto oils because they can cause breakdown of the rubber!
I did not perform any programming, and I don’t think any is required for this vehicle, I did clear the code, start the vehicle up and let idle until it reached operating temperature then went for a drive, all good and the car has good pickup!

It was easy to install and it was cheaper than at the auto store. My throttle error went away after I installed it. It came later then it was supposed to otherwise it is good!

We watched a YouTube video that described our exact problem of random dying when stopping at lights or traffic. Then starting back up with reduced power and check engine light on. The problem appears in the vicinity of 70,000 miles. The throttle body has a plastic gear inside that wears as the throttle goes up and down. The spring tension is so strong it accelerates the wear. We unhooked the linkage and worked it by hand feeling the slop and occasionally locking up. We ordered this new throttle body and hooked it up and it was perfect like when new. My son in law had had it to several shops and plugs and coils were replaced with no change, fuel filters, air filter, and engine oil and filter changed with no improvement. We then went to AutoZone and purchased the $350.00 scan tool and this scan tool had the advanced troubleshooting capability and we were able to get the specific problem of the erratic idling being the throttle body not zeroing out its position count. Then we went to YouTube and entered a description of our findings and found a perfect video that stepped us through the troubleshooting, clarifying several items, and opening up the throttle body showing the stripped plastic gear. We replaced the throttle body and the engine instantly ran and accelerated like it did when new.

My 2010 Caliber started running really bad and after some research, I found that I needed to replace the throttle body. I found this one and it looks exactly like the one off my car and it did come with a gasket. Fit and finish was really nice and had no issues installing it in my car. Took maybe 30 minutes and just removed the battery and hose coming from the airbox that connected to the part. After getting it buttoned up, my car started and ran great. The dashboard error light cleared and I did not have to reset or do anything special. I would recommend to anyone.
